Zelma Rich Irizarry age 76 of Denton, formerly of Amarillo, passed away at her residence Monday February 4, 2008. She was born March 14, 1931, in Philadelphia, Pa, to Theodore "Teddy" and Louise (Wilt) Rich. She married Raymond Irizarry September 17, 1952 in Maryland.

Zelma was a gentle Christian lady who was kind to everyone, who took every opportunity to smile and loved to laugh, who loved life and loved her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Zelma is survived by her husband Raymond, brother-in-law Jim Hawthorne of Tulia, Pat and daughter Diane Sloan of Denton, son Ray and Donna Irizarry of Grapevine, and son John and Svetlana Irizarry of Euless. Zelma is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 10, 2008, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 148 West Church Street, Lewisville, Texas 75067. Burial will be at 10:30 am, Monday February 11, 2008, at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, Lane A, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211. The Memorial Service will be 3:00 pm, Monday February 11, 2008, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home Chapel, in Lewisville.
