Zeferina Perez, 58, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2015 in Denton, Texas. She was born to Luis and Catalina (Garcia) Contreras on August 26, 1956 in Monterrey, Mexico. The family has chosen to celebrate her life in private. She is preceded in death by her parents, Vincente and Catalina Contreras; brothers, Lazaro and Aniceto Contreras; and sister Nazaria Contreras. Survivors: husband Luis Perez; daughters Yolanda Cantu (Javier), and Moraima Perez; son Luis Perez Jr. (Juana); grandchildren Carlos and Karla Cantu, and Luis E. Perez; brothers Ramon and Jose Contreras; sisters Maria Villarreal, Maria I. Contreras, Maria E. Contreras, and Guillermina Gonzalez; as well as several nieces and nephews.
