Winnie Bell Bragg of Denton, left to join her heavenly father April 11, 2016.She was born October 24, 1928 in Ft. Worth Texas. She married John Bragg, the Watermelon Man, in November 1999. He preceded her in death Oct. 31, 2009. After marrying John, she was welcomed with an extended family; stepson Leonard Bragg of Lewisville and Wayne Bragg(Kathy) of Valley View.
With them came several grandchildren; Jan Howard of Era, Becky Copeland of Dallas, Kristi Ward and Jason Bragg of Krum ,Tom Bragg of Honey Grove, James Bragg of Lake Dallas, Sandra Kirby, Karen Kimball and Lynn Lasiter all of Denton, and numerous great and great,great grandkids. She is survived by sister Marie Harrell of Denton ,brother George McDonald of Krum and niece Linda Willingham. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, brother, stepson Wilburn Bragg(Patsy), daughter in law Abby Bragg and grandson Jack Bragg. She loved sewing and most importantly working in her garden. She was a member of Faith Tabernacle of Denton. Graveside service will be at noon, Thursday April 14 at New Hope Cemetery in Burns City, Tx. with Bro. Randy Snow officiating. Special thanks to The Vintage Nursing Home, Alpha Omega Hospice and No Place Like Home (Comfort Care) for taking such loving care of our Winnie.
