Obituary

A memorial service will be held April 27 for Wilma Louise Lynch of Aubrey, formerly of Denton, who died April 24 of pancreatic cancer. She was 69.

Wilma was born July 13, 1936, in Lubbock County, Texas, to Paul V. and Augusta \"June\" Burris Ingram. She married Bill Lynch in Denton on Sept. 9, 1955. They celebrated their 50th anniversary in July with a family vacation to Durango, Colo.

She was a graduate of Dalhart High School. While attending Texas Women's University in Denton, she met her soulmate. They were married three months later and immediately started their family. She later returned to T.W.U., where she received her Licensed Vocational Nursing degree. While carrying their fifth child, she completed her Registered Nursing degree at Grayson County Community College in Sherman. She again returned to T.W.U., where in 1992 she earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing degree, with honors.

Wilma had worked as a nurse at Flow Memorial Hospital, the University of North Texas infirmary, and Wadley Blood Bank, all located in Denton.

She was an active member of Green Valley Baptist Church, north of Denton, and a dedicated student of the Bible Study Fellowship. She had been a member of Grace Temple Baptist Church for 20 years and earlier a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, formerly Faith Memorial Baptist, all in Denton.

She enjoyed visiting with friends, singing hymns, reading the bible, fellowship with her BSF group, and attending her church. She especially enjoyed family gatherings, spending time with her grandchildren, and her pets. Her favorite pastimes were dancing with her husband and Trail Dust friends, genealogy research, and playing a nightly game of Scrabble.

Survivors include her husband, Bill; a daughter and her husband, Mauria and Dan Banducci of Eugene, Oregon; a son and his wife, Alan and Jana of Aubrey; a daughter and her husband, Rhonda and Dennis Reames of Blooming Grove; a son, Baxton of Aubrey; a son, Jason of Plano; a sister, Linda Yakel of Irving; a brother, Herbert Ingram of Austin; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A sister, Chrystelle Trietsch, died previously.

Thursday's service will be at 1 p.m. at Grace Temple Baptist Church in Denton. Visitation will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Denton.

Memorial contributions may be made to VistaCare Hospice of Denton or the American Cancer Society.

The family wishes to thank all of the kind people of VistaCare and Presbyterian Hospital for their compassionate care of our sweet wife, momma and nannie. We sincerely thank you.
