Wilma Abigail Horton, 87 of Denton, Texas former resident of Altus, died Sunday, April 10, 2005 at the Presbyterian Hospital of Denton. She was born October 31, 1917 in Point, Texas to Lute H. and Alma Bell (McWhorter) Horton. She attended Public Schools and was a graduate of Oklahoma State University, She was a retired Public School Teacher. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Headrick, Oklahoma

A graveside funeral service will be held at 1 P.M. Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at the Restlawn Cemetery in Altus, Oklahoma.
Rev. Bob Garsee will officiate.

Mrs. Horton is survived by a daughter Xoa Xan Nichols, of Denton, TX a sister, Margaret Reeves, of Dallas, TX a niece, Vikki Sloan, of the Colony, TX and two granddogs, Kourtney and KaLeigh Nichols.
