Wilma Jean Dooley Wells, 81, of Denton, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2009 at her home.  She was born August 20, 1927 to J. J. and Lou Ella (Burch) Dooley in Denton, Texas   She attended Public Schools, and was a member of Highland Baptist Church.  She worked as a Sales Clerk for the M. E. Moses Company.   She was married to Rufus Wells on  December 1, 1951 In Denton.

A funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, April 30, 2009 in the Chapel of Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, with Rev. Jeff Dooley, Officiating.  Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.  The family will be at the Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home,  705 N. Locust, Denton for visitation from        7 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Wednesday, April 29, 2009.

Mrs. Wells is survived by her husband,  Rufus Wells of Denton   two daughters, Debbie Korzi and husband Kevin, of Garland,  and Cindy Wells, of Denton,  Granddaughter, Sarah Heddin and Husband Nolan, of Justin, and Four great grandchild, Tiawne, Elizabeth, Ashlyn, and Kaileigh.
