Willie Mae Veroche – born June 20, 1924 in Moorewood, Oklahoma to J.C. Hughes and Ellen Cantrell Hughes, her father passed away before she was born.  Mother came back to Dallas, later married John C. Chambliss, 6 children were born of this marriage 3 boys and 3 girls.  All have preceded her in death.

Willie married August L. Rittener Jr. in El Paso, Tx on September 3, 1942.  Divorced 1980, had 1 son Clinton August Rittener (born April 4, 1952 and passed away March 3, 1989 – only child.)  Willie married Rocco J. Veroche November 23, 1982 and passed away August 10, 1991.  All of Willie's family have preceded her in death.

She is survived by her only grandchild Clinton R. Rittener, wife Cindy and 5 great grandchildren, Justine Phan, Kayli Phan, McKenzie Rittener, Madilyn Rittener and Cameron Rittener.

Willie worked for Mountain Bell Telephone & Telegraph in El Paso 1946-1958.  El Paso Public School for 19 years.  Denton Public School Food Service 21 years.  She retired in 2006 at age 82.
