William Robert Wilson, 86, of Denton, died Friday, October 21, 2016 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Denton.

Mr. Wilson was born on February 11, 1930 in Boston, MA to Thomas and Clara (Johnson) Wilson. He was married to Winifred Johnson on April 2, 1955 in San Bernardino, CA. He was a member of Denton Bible Church and was a disabled veteran of the United States Air Force. He worked as a procurement clerk for FEMA.

He is survived by his wife, Winifred Wilson of Denton; daughters, Carmen, Rebecca, Laura, Marylee, Selah; son, Thomas; sister, Bertha Rushton of New Hampshire; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM Monday, October 24, 2016 at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, TX. Interment will be at 2:30 PM Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
