William George Ulrich, 79, of Denton, died Sunday, August 17, 2008 at Denton Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Ulrich was born on August 11, 1929 in Hoboken, NJ to William V. and Freda Ulrich. He graduated from high school in Newark, NJ. He was married to Ruth L. Herbert on June 30, 1951 in Newark, NJ. He worked as a bread salesman for Sunbeam and then retired from Mrs. Baird's. He was an elder at the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday August 20, 2008 in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, TX. Rev. John Lindsay will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday August 19 at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Ruth Ulrich of Denton; son, Bill Ulrich and his wife Jan of Denton; several nieces and nephews.
