Obituary
William Dyer Sutton, 79, of Denton, died Monday February 15, 2010 at his home.
Mr. Sutton was born on June 22, 1930 in Columbus, OH to Stephen Justis and Millia (Dyer) Sutton. He served in the United States Navy and was a salesman for the General Telephone Directory and for Bill Utter Ford.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday February 18, 2010 in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home chapel, 705 N. Locust, Denton, TX. Rev. Steve Shank will officiate the service.
Survivors include his daughters, Darcey Sutton-Orr of Southlake, Stacey Pettigrew of Denton; sons, Tim Sutton of Argyle, Stephen Sutton of Leonard; sister, Connie Blakkolb of Glendale, CA; brother, Stephen George Sutton of Columbus, OH; seven grandchildren, Lance Sutton, Bailey Sutton, Justin Sutton, Jensen Sutton, Jaycie Sutton, Kodi Pettigrew, Karson Pettigrew. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Jean Sutton on March 1, 2004.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the Denton Bible Church Missions, 2300 E. University Dr., Denton, TX 76209.
