Obituary
William E. Rauh, 95, of Escondido, CA, formerly of Denton, died Saturday September 18, 2010 at Las Villas Del Norte Nursing Center in Escondido, CA.
Mr. Rauh was born on October 31, 1914 in Hutchinson, Kansas to Joseph and Victoria (Fortier) Rauh. He was married to Vonda Pauline Strom on December 19, 1967, (she died on April 4, 2006). He served in the United States Army during WWII. He was a retired furniture salesman with Breunner's Furniture Store.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM Friday October 1, 2010 at Roselawn Memorial Park, Denton, TX. A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Friday October 1, 2010 at the funeral home.
Survivors include his sons, Fr. William Rauh of Wichita, KS, John Rauh of Bradenton, FL; his daughters, Cindy Deggendorf of Escondido, CA, Barbara Fortier of Atlanta, GA; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
