William H Morris Jr (Bill) went to be with our Lord on December 2, 2015 at the age of 80 years old in Denton Texas. Bill was a machinist by trade. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He expressed his love for the Lord through his song writing and his faithful witnessing of God's word.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Lou, two sons, Charles Michael and wife, Jan, and William H Morris III and wife, Jenny, one brother, Bobby Don, three sisters, Twilight Dudley, Janette Morris and Nancy Sue Duncan, 7 grandchildren (JD, Audrey, Philip, Pierce, Chris, Stacy and Tracy), 5 great grandchildren and a host of nephews and nieces.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William H Morris Sr. and Opal Jane Farris Morris; brother, Charles; sisters, Joanne and Wanda Lee; daughter, Judy Lynn; son, Stephen Bentley.
Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, December 6, 4-6 pm, with funeral service being officiated by Rev. Bud Stradley on Monday, December 7, 10 am, at Denton Funeral Home with burial to follow at Roselawn Cemetery, Denton.
