William Russell Kumpe, 49, of Lewisville, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2009.  Russell was born in Lebanon, IN, May 19, 1959 to William Durante and Roslyn Aletha Kumpe.  Russell completed a bachelor's degree in computer science,  and his career included IT and telecommunications.  He met and married his devoted wife and best friend, Ruth Rogers.   Russell and his family were members of  Parkway Baptist Church, Trietsch Methodist and Grace Baptist church in Lewisville.  Russell is survived by his wife, Ruth, of Lewisville; three daughters, Samantha, Miranda and Jessica Kumpe, all of Lewisville;  sister, Pam Leith of Washington D.C.,  niece, Nicole Maluso of Long Beach. CA, and his father, William Durante Kumpe and step-mother, Betty Kumpe of Grand Prairie.   He was preceded in death by his mother, Roslyn Kumpe.  A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Friday afternoon, April 17th, 2009 in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville.  In lieu of flowers contributions for the benefit of Russell's children can be made payable to Cassie Stoner, 9233 Manassas Ridge, McKinney, TX  75071.
