William Foxworth King, MD, of Denton, died Friday, February 18, 2022 at Leona's Helping Hands care home in Denton.

Dr. King was born on April 19, 1930 in Denton to William Wiley King, Jr. and Willie (McJunkin) King. He was married to Eugenia Ruth McKinney in 1954 in the Cole Chapel of the First United Methodist Church. Dr. King graduated as the Salutatorian in 1947 from Denton High School and later graduated from the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in 1955. He served in the United States Army. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Denton

Dr. King is survived by wife, Eugenia King of Denton; children, Bill King of Las Vegas, NV, Cathy Durick of Dallas, Robert King of McKinney; grandchildren, Will King of Seattle, WA, Alan Durick of Bend, Oregon, Caitlin Durick of Dallas, Emily King of McKinney.

A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
