William Clifton Hollaway,  91, of Denton, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2008,  at Denton Rehabilitation Center.  He was born in Wise County, TX  on January 4, 1917 to George W. and Emma  (Morris) Hollaway.  He was married to Lucille VanWinkle on February 20, 1937 in Wichita Falls, TX  He is retired from the City of Denton Water Treatment Plant, and a member of the Baptist Church.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, December 22, 2008 at the Petrolia Cemetery in Petrolia, TX    The family will be at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home,  705 N. Locust, Denton, for visitation on Sunday, December 21, 2008, from 4 P.M. until 6 P.M. and at the Davis Funeral Home,  316 S. Bridge St. Henrietta, TX on Monday, December 22, 2008 from 10 A.M. until 12 Noon for visitation.

Mr. Hollaway is survived by his wife, Lucille Hollaway, of Denton, three sons, Ronnie Hollaway, of Lewisville,  Rodney Hollaway, of Denton, and Terry Hollaway, of Plano, a sister, Nettie Mae Fuller, of Lindsay, OK and a brother,  Bobby Ray Hollaway, of Henrietta,  Five Grandchildren and Four Great Grandchildren.
