William Thomas Guinn
William T (Bill) Guinn of Denton, Texas - died November 4, 2021.
Bill was born to William M. and Elizabeth Fritz Guinn December 29, 1927 at Booneville, Arkansas. Bill was the youngest of nine children.
Bill graduated from Booneville High School in 1945. He attended Arkansas Polytechnic College and The University of Tulsa where he graduated in Business Administration.
Bill began his career with Amerace Corporation as plant comptroller in the San Francisco Bay area. In 1962, he was transferred to Denton as plant manager for EMC Plastics, a division of Amerace. Bill retired from Amerace in 1978 to establish Golden Triangle Plastics, a plastics molding business with production plants in Denton and El Paso, TX. He sold his business in 1985, and later retired in 1987.
He was a founding member of Southmont Baptist Church. He was a long time member of Denton Country Club (over 60 years) in which he played many rounds of golf! He also enjoyed gardening.
Bill was married to his beautiful wife, Peggy for 63 years, who preceded him in death. His daughter, Susan Guinn Stafford, preceded him in death, along with his parents and 8 siblings. Bill is survived by his son, Phil and his wife Kimberly, granddaughters Elizabeth Stafford Reeves and her husband Jason, Megan Guinn Henry and her husband Nyal, grandson Michael Guinn and his wife Kayla. Bill has two great grandsons Cal Henry and Hayes Guinn.
A graveside service is to be held for immediate family on Monday, November 15, 2021 at Roselawn Cemetery.
