William Dean, 85, of Denton, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at his home. He was born November 29, 1929 in Dallas, TX to Alvin Pinkney and Elizabeth (Stedam) Dean. He was married to Patricia C. Peacock on November 15, 1987 in Houston, TX. He was a graduate of Dallas Tech High School, served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, and was a member of the Sons of Herman. He is a member of the First United Methodist Church of Sanger. He was an Administrator for Standard Republic Parking.
Mr. Dean is survived by his wife, Patricia Peacock Dean of Denton, TX; daughters, Dona Hupp of Sugarland, TX, Anna Betancur and Mary Bryant, both of Denton; stepsons, Hal Peacock of Denton, and Tom Peacock of Port Charlotte, FL; brother, Archie Dean of Jacksonville; fifteen grandchildren, and eighteen great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on December 1, 2015 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. at the Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust Denton and a graveside funeral at the Sanger Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 2, 2015, with Larry Rathban, officiating.
