Obituary

William Carroll Brenholtz, 79, of Sanger passed away peacefully at his home on December 15, 2013. William was born on December 23, 1933 in Denton, TX. William served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. William was also a member of the Stanfield Masonic Lodge of Denton, TX and was employed for many years by The University of North Texas where he was a safety inspector. William was part owner of Walt's Book Store in Lawton, Oklahoma and graduated Cameron University there. William is survived by his daughter Sandra McLennan of Oklahoma City; son Stephen Brenholtz and wife Marsha of Sanger; sister Joanna Bemis of Carlsbad, New Mexico; brothers Gerald Brenholtz of Georgetown, TX and Edwin Brenholtz of Lubbock, TX and two grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Thursday December 19, 2013 at 2:00pm at the Mulkey-Mason funeral Home chapel 705 N. Locust St. Denton with Chaplain Sean Davis officiating. Masonic rites will be observed. Visitation will take place beginning at 1pm just before the service.
