William G. (Bill) Eubanks, age 79, of Lewisville, passed away Monday, December 15, 2008, in Lewisville.

He was born May 14, 1929 in Jackson, Mississippi to William G. Eubanks, Sr. and Jewel Sills Eubanks. Bill married Connie Smith on December 26, 1952 in Jackson, Mississippi. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. Bill retired from the United States Air Force after serving over 27 years and was a member of the Lewisville VFW Post #9168.

He is survived by his wife, Connie; daughters, Linda Maddox and husband, Bob, Sandra Gaines and husband, Jimmy, Susan Prewitt and Robin Eubanks; sons, Brent Boyles and wife, Peggy and Darrell Eubanks and wife, Debbie; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister Billie Eubanks and by his brother, Tommy Eubanks.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 18, 2008, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. Interment with full military honors will follow at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
