Wilbur Warren Red Hale, age 86, of Denton formely of Wichita , Kansas passed away Monday March 27, 2006 at Senior Care Health and Rehabilitation Center in Denton. He was born March 17, 1920 in Andover, Kansas to Brook Warren and Lilly May ( Malcom) Hale. He married Betty Jane Lund in1946 then married Betty Lou Wilkerson in 1978. They both passed away in 2000.Red served in the U.S. Army during WWII and worked as a Mechanic in the Trucking industry retiring from Lopper Transportation in 1978.
He is survived by his sons Jerry and wife Marilyn Hale of Corinth , Texas . Larry Hale of Wichita , Kansas. Paul and wife Sonya of Toronto, Kansas. Daughter Jane and husband Jerry Reed of Winslow , Arkansas. Sisters Mary Hanchett A
and Joann Rieke both of Wichita, Kansas and Donna Rhodes of Albany, Indiana. Brother Leonard Hale of Wichita, Kansas. He was preceded in death by two sisters Claudene Beard and Freda McMillen and two brothers Claude Hale and Phillip Hale.
Graveside services will be 12 Noon Thursday March 20,2006 at the Lakeview Cemetery in Wichita, Kansas. There will be a visitation from 11:00 am until 12:00 before the service at Lakeview Funeral Home Wichita, Kansas.
