Wendy Gayle Brantley formerly of Lewisville, Texas, went home to be with Jesus on October 29, 2006 after a long courageous battle with a spinal cord tumor.
Wendy was born on November 29, 1978 in Lewisville, Texas. She was a 1997 graduate of Lewisville High School and also attended Collin County Jr. College.
In 1999 she moved to New York where she attended Marymount College on a theatre scholarship, graduating with honor. Upon graduation from Marymount, Wendy pursued and did attain her life long dream of a career in acting on the New York Stage.
Wendy is survived by her parents Ricky and Shelley Brantley of Lewisville, Texas; brothers Cory Brantley of Highland Village, Texas, Beau Brantley of Addison, Texas; grandparents Nancy Anderson of Corinth, Texas, David and Gay Brantley of Kemp, Texas, Don and Anita Anderson of Denton, Texas. She is survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends including Britt Dahl and Wayne Lawrence of Blandford, Massachusetts, parents of the love of her life, and best friend, Tom Dahl of Brooklyn, New York. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Gene Lambert.
A public visitation will be held at Shiloh Church, from 6:00-8:00 P.M., Friday, November 3, 2006 at 6500 Cross Timbers Road in Flower Mound, Texas. A visit from 2:00-3:00 P.M., Saturday, November 4, 2006, with services celebrating Wendy's life
beginning at 3:00 P.M. at Flower Mound United Methodist Church, 3950 Bruton Orand Road, Flower Mound, Texas 75028.
