Weldon Judkins, 78, of Haltom City, formerly of Denton, died Monday, January 15, 2007 at Baylor All Saints Hospital in Fort Worth. He was born December 13, 1928 in Justin to Joe and Daisy (Brown) Judkins. He was married to Lillian Sims, in Denton on July 24, 1948. He was in the Texas National Guard for 13 ½ years. He is a retired Wholesale Florist working for Hopkins Wholesale Floral and Fort Worth Floral. He is a member of the First Baptist Church of Haltom City.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, January 18, 2007 in the First Baptist Church, 5800 Denton Hwy., Haltom City, TX 76148 with Pastor Marlon Mosley, officiating. Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F Cemetery in Denton. The family will be at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton for visitation from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Wednesday, January 17 2007.
Mr. Judkins is survived by his wife Lillian of Haltom City, two sons, Eddie Judkins of Keller, and Ronnie Judkins of Haltom City, and two daughters, Brenda Lake of Duncanville, and Darla Robertson of Bedford, a brother Bobby Joe Judkins of Carrollton, and a sister Joyce Erwin of Denton, stepmother, Johnnie Judkins of Denton. Seven grandchildren, Christy, Julie, Kevin, Lisa, Chelsea, Michelle, Crystal, and five great grandchildren, Allison, Jacob, Jalen, Logan, Anthony.
