Waymon "Buddy" Standifer, 73, born January 2, 1940 to Lewis and Beulah Moss Standifer in Krum, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2013, in Denton.


Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2013, 10:00 A.M., at the Freedom Life Church, 1609 Duck Creek Road, Sanger, Texas 76266.


A life-long resident of Krum, Buddy was best known as a master craftsman; building machines that made tools.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Wendall Standifer and Lewis Ray Standifer and his granddaughter, Jessica Brown. Buddy is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn; son, Scott Brown and wife, Tricia, of Mabank, daughters; Sandra Hensley and husband, Jeff of Sanger, Robin Claytor and husband, Bobby of Krum, and Melissa Walker and husband, Brent of Forestburg; . ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and sisters; Dorothy Farris and husband, Jan of Krum and Jean Williams of Denton.
