It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Warren Whitson Kepke, who left us all too soon at the tender age of 21. Warren's vibrant spirit touched the lives of everyone he encountered, and his memory will forever be etched in our hearts.
Warren is survived by his devoted mother, Jennifer Kepke-Beathard, and her husband, Steven Beathard of Plano, Texas, his loving and devoted father, Warren Blair Kepke of Denton, Texas. He leaves behind his cherished sister, Olympia Kepke, residing in Plano, Texas, as well as his beloved grandmother, Lynn Whitson Carrico, who resides in Denton, Texas. Additionally, he is survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins who held a special place in his heart.
Warren was a young man of exceptional qualities, embodying kindness, compassion, and an unwavering willingness to help others. He had a heart as generous as Texas itself, and he never knew a stranger. His passions were as diverse as they were profound, encompassing football, hockey, boxing, and music. Warren's passion for the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Stars, and Texas Longhorns was infectious, bringing boundless joy to those around him. His mother held dear the treasured moments they shared at Stars games, and he had a heartwarming habit of seeking out his mother, eager to discuss both his day and the latest happenings in the world of the Dallas Stars.
Warren shared a special bond with his father, engaging in memorable hunting adventures. Their shared enthusiasm for football and the band Rush brought them even closer. As a brother, Warren's playful spirit shone through as he delighted in playing tricks and jokes on his sister, always fiercely protective of her.
Among his friends, Warren was known for his wit, creativity, and infectious humor. He had a unique ability to infuse laughter into any situation and was the life of the party. Loyalty, spontaneity, and genuineness were his hallmarks, making him a cherished friend to many. His friends fondly remember his competitive spirit, whether inventing games, conquering board games like Monopoly and chess, or facing off in a challenging video contest.
Warren's aspirations reached new heights as he recently became a paramedic. His enthusiasm for sharing his training experiences was contagious, and he looked forward to embarking on his career as a paramedic, undoubtedly touching countless lives with his compassionate care.
Warren Whitson Kepke's departure leaves a void that can never be filled. Yet, his legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all fortunate enough to know him. May his memory provide comfort and inspiration during these difficult times.
