Wanda Ellen Kuykendall, 84, of Denton, died Friday, July 24, 2020 at her home in Denton surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Kuykendall was born on March 19, 1936 in Cee Vee, TX to Kenneth Woodall and Lola Elizabeth (Treece) Lansford. She was married to Sidney Dean Kuykendall; he died in February 2015. She was a seamstress and an accomplished artist.

Wanda is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Jeanette "Lisa" Owens of Lubbock, Rebecca "Becky: Morehead of Plano; sons, Randall Clay Kidd of Denton; sisters, Lenora Alice Roozemond of Ohio, Janice Clark of Amarillo; brothers, Derrell Lansford of Texhoma, Elmer Treece Lansford of Phoenix, AZ, Leon Lansford of Roswell, NM, Kenneth Dalton Lansford of Oregon; grandchildren, Nikki, Jordy, Corey, Dylan, Damon, Michael; six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Barry Neal Kidd.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Melrose Cemetery, New Mexico.
