Wanda Jean Hudgins, 78, of Denton , passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at  Presbyterian Hospital of Denton.  She was born November 19, 1930 in Wilbarger County, Texas to James Ballard and Helen (Rainwater) Stallings.  She was a  graduate of Krum High School and Draughn�s Business College . She married her high school sweetheart, John Hudgins, on July 3, 1953 in Tyler, Texas .  She was retired from Moore Business Forms as an executive secretary.  She is a member of the First Baptist Church .

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 in the Chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, with Rev. Bob Hagemann, officiating.  Burial will follow in the Plainview Cemetery west of Krum. The family will be at the Funeral Home for visitation on Monday, December 8, 2008 from 6 P.M. until 7 P.M.

Mrs. Hudgins is survived by her husband, John Hudgins, of Denton; a daughter and son in law, Diane and Chris Smith, of Denton; and son, David Hudgins, of Bakersfield, CA;  a brother, Wayne Stallings, of Troy, TX and grandchildren  Elizabeth and Andrew Smith, and Nicole, Jonathan, Shelby, Emily, and Sarah Hudgins.
