Obituary
Walter Sidney Henderson, age 53, of Valley View, Texas passed away Sunday, September 23, 2007 at MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas. He was born November 26, 1953, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Walter John and Frances (Huffman) Henderson. Sid graduated from Lake Dallas High School in 1971. Sid served in the United States Army from 1974 to 1977. He was a sharpshooter (Rifle) and received the National Defense Service Medal. He worked for the City of Lewisville Engineering Division as a Construction Inspector for 24 years. Sid made his home in Valley View, Texas. He loved hunting, fishing, the outdoors, and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his daughter; Erica Henderson, his girlfriend; Debbie Dennehy, Colleen and Ryan Dennehy, his stepmother; Kay Henderson Brooks; sister, Laura Jean and other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father; Walter John, his mother; Frances, and his brother; Dale. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 28, 2007, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville, Texas. Family and friends can visit the funeral home from 12:00 to 2:00 prior to the service. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or charity of your choice.
