Wallace Wade Hampton, 82, of Denton, died Monday, January 17, 2022 in Denton.

Mr. Hampton was born on July 2, 1939 in Decatur to Robert Wade and Grace Earle (Hall) Hampton. He retired from Denton State School.

Wade was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Smith Hampton.  He is survived by his sister, Kay Jones of Fort Worth; nephews Robert Hampton of Russellville, Arkansas, and Stephen Jones of Lake in the Hills, Illinois; and nieces Paula Scoggins of Phoenix Arizona, and Katie Hampton of Vidalia, Louisiana.

A graveside service will be held at a later date in Roselawn Memorial Park, Denton.
