Obituary
Waldo M. Witherspoon, age 88, of Fort Worth, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2008, in Fort Worth.
He was born April 28, 1919 in Lewisville, Texas to Henry Clay Witherspoon and Edith
Mitchell Witherspoon. Waldo married Ethel Marie Moon on April 28, 1939 in Fort Worth. She preceded him in death on December 6, 1999. He served in the United States Army during World War II and was an active member of Woodmen of The World.
He is survived by his daughter, Carol Davis of Fort Worth; son, Harold Witherspoon of Fort Worth; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and his sister, Peggy Joyce of
Fort Worth.
Funeral service will be held 4:00 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2008, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. Interment will follow at Old Hall Cemetery in Lewisville.
