Virginia Harrison Wortman, 81, passed away on July 28 in Denton. A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2015 at Open Range Cowboy Church. Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Open Range Cowboy Church in Krum, Texas with burial to follow at Eakins Cemetery in Ponder. She was born to Ira and Annie Harrison on June 28, 1934 in Ponder, Texas. Virginia enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, and spent her free time sewing. She was a member of the Ponder Quilters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil; son, Robert; granddaughter, Jodi; and parents, Ira and Annie. She is survived by her daughter, Mitzie Wortman Harris; brother, William Harrison; granddaughter, Stephanie Martinez (Paul); grandsons, Ronnie Hale Jr. (Cris), and Bobby Hale (Shellie); granddaughters, Elayna Saeed (Aasim), and Ashley Munsell (Tanner); four great-grandsons; and three great-granddaughter.
