Virginia Loouise Swaney, 79, of Denton, died Saturday, November 1, 2008 at Presbyterian Hospital of Denton.  She was born November 27, 1928 in Dallas  to Willis and Dessie Lois (Kennington) Bridges.  She survived both of her husbands,  Raymond Harry Martin, and Del Swaney.  She was a Homemaker and member of the Baptist Church.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 in the Club Room of Fair Oaks Retirement Center, 1950 Lattimore St.  Denton, with Rev. Frank Lott officiating.

Mrs. Swaney is survived by two daughters, Vi9rginia Bezzy, of Slidell, and Nita Redmon, of Ponder, and a son Richard E. Martin, of Lake Dallas,   Seven Grandchildren, Thirettn Great Grandchildren, and One Great Great Grandchild.
