Virginia Lou Huddleston, age 80, formerly of Denton passed away Sunday April 16, 2006 in McKinney, Texas. She was born March 24, 1926 in Arkansas to Waymon and Mattie Scott. She married Jerry T. Huddleston. She was a Homemaker and very active in First United Methodist Church of Denton and Asbury United Methodist Church of Denton. She was also a member of the Denton Garden Club, and Native Plant Society.
Virginia is survived by her daughter Debi and son-in-law Gene Nightingale of Allen. Sisters Freda Bailey of San Antonio, Pauline Hopper of Oklahoma and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Huddleston , son Stanley Huddleston. Sister Nelline Vincent.
Funeral services will be 11 am Friday April 21, 2006 at the Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton. The Dr. James R. Porter will officiate the service. Visitation will be 6 to 7 pm Thursday April 20, 2006 at the Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association Greater Dallas Chapter 7610 N.
