Vincent Lee Richardson, 62, of Denton, passed away on January 7, 2010 at Denton Regional Medical Center. He was born July 3, 1947 in Denton to Thomas Harvey and Virgie Mae (Ellison) Richardson. He was a graduate of Denton Public Schools and the University of North Texas. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, and was retired from the City of Denton Power Plant. He served in the U S Navy during Viet Nam.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 16, 2010 in the Cindy Nichols Chapel of the First Baptist Church, 1100 Malone St. Denton, with Rev. Cliff Feeler officiating. Mr. Richardson is survived by his wife, Teresa Richardson of Denton, TX; mother, Virgie Richardson of Denton; daughter and son-in-law, Stacy and Russell Franklin of Denton; sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen and Colleen Richardson of Emery, TX, Bradley and Tammy Bell of Sanger, Brian and Wendy Bell, of Sanger, TX and Chad and Jessica Bell of Rhome, TX; a brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Betty Richardson of Houston, TX and twelve grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Sandra Dunn.
