Vida Marie Carter, 50, of Valley View, died Monday, September 7, 2020 in Denton.

She was born on June 30, 1970 in Denton to Jackie Lewis and Wanda Ruth (Rogers) Carter. She worked as a nurse for many years.

Vida is survived by her mother, Wanda Carter of Valley View; daughters, Britany Tackett of Denton, Tabitha Tackett of Denton; son, Michael Tackett of Tulsa, OK; sisters, Georgia Carter of Denton, Pamela Carter of Carrollton; brother, Jesse Lewis Carter of Valley View; grandchildren, Ruben Tackett, Lexie Tackett, Frankie Tackett, Abigail Thomas, Faith Tackett, Amelia Edwards, Penelope Edwards.

The visitation will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2020 starting at 10:00 AM at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust St., Denton, TX.
