Obituary

Victor John Marek, 93, of Denton, Texas passed away peacefully after a long illness on Thursday February 10, 2022.  He was born June 18, 1928 in Baylor County, Texas to R.V. and Francis Marek (Jurecka).  Victor was a veteran who proudly served in the post-World War II era in Austria and Germany.  He retired in 1989 from General Motors and enjoyed his family, hobbies, friends and his pets.

Victor is survived by his daughters Pamela Trader of Houston and Lea Kelsoe (John) of Denton,
Grand Children Corey Goldsmith, Kristin McCaughey (William), Richard McElhaney, Jr (Holly), Curtis McElhaney, Patrick McElhaney, Candice McElhaney, Kacy Wozniak (Bryan), Kylie Lyles (Ryan),
Austin Kelsoe, Aaron Kelsoe and 11 Great Grand Children.

Victor was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Marek (McClure), his parents, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

Victor will be remembered for his kindness, humor and willingness to help others.

Visitation will be held Tuesday February 15 th at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home from 6-8pm located at 705 N Locust St, Denton, TX.  Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday February 16 th at 1pm at the Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Chapel.

In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Linda McNatt Animal Care and Adoption Center as Victor adored his beloved dogs.
