Vicki Leann Raney Shepherd, age 68, was born January 19, 1947 in Dallas, TX and passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 in Decatur, TX, where she resided for twenty-three years. She was preceded in death by her son, Randy Skelton; husband, Ross "Skeet" Shepherd; father, Talmadge Raney; mother, Syble Long; stepfather, Don Long and brother, Richard Raney.
She is survived by her nephew, Jeff Raney and his wife Channing of Houston, TX; her niece, Alexa Raney of Corpus Christi, TX; her aunt Joann Hawkins and her husband Cecil of Benbrook, TX; her great nieces and nephews, Nicole, Marshall, Jack, Ferris and Verity Raney, as well as, a multitude of cousins and friends. Vicki worked ten years for Beads Beautiful in Decatur.
A visitation will be held from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton. Weather permitting a 12:00 Noon graveside will follow the visitation at Roselawn Memorial Park, Denton.
