Vernon Benjamin "Benny" Watkins, 61, of Valley View, TX died Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at home with his family. He was born June 24, 1946 in Octibeha County, Mississippi to Benjamin Jackson and Corine (Blake) Watkins. He was married to Joyce Fleenor on April 10, 1984 in Fort Worth. He is retired from Vaught Aircraft after thirty years of service. He was an proud member of the UAW Local #848, he is also a member of the Baptist Church and Hurst Masonic Lodge No. 1387 in Hurst, TX

Mr. Watkins is survived by his wife Joyce Watkins, of Valley View, sons, Robert Charles Watkins, of Arlington, Randall "Randy" Watkins, of Burleson, and Mike Fleenor, of Valley View, daughters, Teresa Miller, of Mansfield, and Angie Waite, of Joshua, sisters, Dorothy Beard and Diann Malone, of Valley View, Martha Jean McCarty, of Tioga, Carolyn Pannell, of Denton and Linda Johnson, of Krum, brother, Johnny Watkins, of Valley View, Ten Grandchildren and two Great Grandchildren.
