Vera Pauline Taylor, 92, of Denton, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Cottonwood Care Center. She was born on March 23, 1922 in Burkburnett, to Dewey and Bessie (Carter) Wardlow. She was married to J. E. (Bud) Taylor in 1946 in Denton and he passed away on Feb. 2, 1994. She was a member of the Baptist Church and was retired from TWU Custodial Department. Mrs. Taylor is survived by two granddaughters, Teresa Banks and husband Brian of Hurst, Judy Stapper and husband Daryl of Belton; daughter in law Naomi "Sissie" Taylor of Denton, and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her two sons, Hershel Taylor and Tommy Glen. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM today, Monday, March 31, 2014 at Cooper Creek Cemetery.
