Trey Robert Virgil Owen, III, 20, born November 10, 1993 in San Antonio, Texas, to Robert and Norma Owen passed away on November 28, 2013 in Denton, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at Denton Funeral Home, 120 S. Carroll Blvd. on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 1:00 pm.
Trey will always be remembered as a beloved father, son and brother. He was an avid gamer and world traveler. He graduated from North Hills High School in Irving, Texas and continued his education at The University of North Texas. Trey loved his family and was proud of his heritage.
He is survived by his son, Ezra Virgil Owen, mother of Ezra, Sheila Rodriguez; parents, Robert and Norma Owen; brothers; Amador Cantu and David Malec, sisters; Athena Malec and Zorraida Perez-Cantu, grandparents, Patricia Chamberlain, Patricia Owen, Afton Vanderpool, Fran and Billy Fincher, and great-grandmother Bertha Newton.

Trey was pre-deceased by grandparents; Clayton Wright, Herbert Chamberlain and Robert V. Owen Sr., great-grandparents; Edith Owen, Virgil Owen, Earl Newton, Henry Herman Johnson, Roberta Macklem and James F. Kennedy.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to any Wells Fargo Branch to his son, Ezra Virgil Owen, date of birth is February 12, 2013.
