Obituary

Tracy Tomlin, age 35, of Flower Mound, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2007, as a result of a boating accident, at Lake of the Pines while fishing and camping.

Tracy was born November 27, 1971 in Lubbock to Raymond and Debbie Wren Tomlin. He was a graduate of Coronado High School in Lubbock. Tracy received his Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington and his Associates in Arts from the Tarrant County College. He married Laura Boyte on May 24, 1997 in Lubbock after dating for 5 years. They met in May of 1992. Tracy worked for the AMR Corporation for 11 years. He started with American Eagle in 1996 in Lubbock, moved to the DFW area in 1997 to continue to work with American Eagle. In 2005 he transferred to American Airlines as an inventory analyst at Alliance Airport. Tracy was a member of Quaker Avenue Church of God in Lubbock and currently was attending St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Lewisville. Tracy and Laura moved to Flower Mound in 1999 and were blessed with the birth of their daughter, Kaitlyn Marie Tomlin on May 18, 2003. This was the happiest day of his life.

Tracy was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and played for the Flower Mound Mens Softball League on the "Dirty Dozen". He loved fishing and camping with his buddies and enjoyed all kinds of outdoor activities and working in the yard.

He is survived by his wife, Laura; daughter, Kaitlyn Marie Tomlin; parents, Debbie and Raymond Tomlin of Lubbock; grandparents, Bonnie Wren of Lubock and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond A. Tomlin of Weatherford; brother-in-law, Kevin Boyte of Grapevine and Traci Ley; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Craig and Sharon Boyte of Wichita Falls and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by a grandfather,Donnie Wren.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m.,Thursday, March 1, 2007, at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church. Interment will follow in a local cemetery. The Reverend John Stasiowski will officiate the service. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville.
