Toshiko Bulen, age 77, of Lewisville, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2009, in Lewisville.

She was born April 24, 1932 in Tokyo, Japan. Toshiko married Johnnie N. Bulen on September 28, 1953 while he was serving in Showa-Machi Japan.

She is survived by her husband, Johnnie; children, Mary Bulen Potter, Neil Potter, William "Bill" Bulen, Ken Bulen, Janet Bulen, daughter-in-law, Renee Bulen, and sister, Yoshie O'zeki of Tokyo, Japan.  Toshiko was loving known as "Toto" to her five grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.   She was preceded in death by one son, David Bulen in 2003.

The family received friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. A private graveside funeral will be held at a later date at Old Hall Cemetery in Lewisville. For Online condolences please go to www.mulkeymason.com.
