Tonja G. Pfister, 68 of Corinth, passed away on July 2, 2011 at Denton Regional Medical Center. She was born June 19, 1943 in Lafayette, Indiana to Edwin St. Clair and Florence (Swanson) Gantz. She was married to John Pfister on Sept. 10, 1986 in Cincinnati, Ohio. In 1993 she founded Angel Group, an I.T. Project Management Consulting firm, which she ran for ten years. After her retirement from the business community she became the director of Texas Siamese Rescue Organization and devoted all of her energy to caring for and adopting homeless cats.
A memorial service will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 in the Chapel of Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton. Mrs. Pfister is survived by her husband John Pfister of Corinth, daughter, Julia Bluth of Prescott, Arizona a son Kevan Boyce of Phoenix, Arizona, a sister Lise Bishop of Kanata, Canada, Nine Grandchildren, and other extended family members.
