Tommye Louise White, 65, of Hackberry, (Little Elm) passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at Centennial Medical Center in Frisco, TX She was born January 12, 1945 in Leesville, LA to Thomas B. and Geraldine Annie (Ford) Matheson. She was married to Jim R. White on September 5, 1964 in Denton. She was a graduate of Texas Woman's University. She was a reading teacher for the Little Elm Public Schools. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Pilot Point.

A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M . on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton with Jim White and Zach White officiating. The family will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 for visitation from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M.

Mrs. White is survived by her husband, Jim White of Hackberry; daughter and son-in-law, Heather White and Terence L. Murphey of Hackberry; son, Thomas White of Lake Worth and son and daughter-in-law, Zachary and Ashley White of Lewisville; sister, Jerri Sue Channel of San Antonio, and brother, David Matheson of San Antonio; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
