Obituary
Tommy Neal Peters. Jr., 45, of Sanger, Texas, died Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Denton Regional Medical Center.
Tommy was born on October 23, 1970 in Lyster Army Hospital, Fort Rucker, AL to Tommy Neal Peters, Sr. and Barbara Elaine (Smith) Peters. While attending Denton High School, he played football and lettered in Baseball. He graduated from Devry University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. He worked as the Vice President - Business Planning and Analysis for CitiGroup Inc. At an early age, he developed a love of the outdoors. As a teenager, he enjoyed fishing, boating, sports and dirt bikes. Later he rode his bicycle, with his sons, on the trails at the lake and enjoyed kayaking and NASCAR. He was a wonderful son, loving brother, and caring father.
Tommy is survived by his sons, Shane Thomas Peters of Sanger, Ryan Neal Peters of Sanger; father, Tommy Peters of Arlington, TX; sister, Pamela Witcher of Carrollton, GA; grandmother, Margaret Smith-Cauley of Hawkins, TX.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. August 20, 2016 at The First Baptist Church, 12 Gregg Rd, Krum, TX. In lieu of flowers, Tommy requested that donations be made to
