Tommie Ruth Mann,  of Panama City, FL  formerly of Denton,  left the loving arms of her family and went to be with Jesus.  Tommie was born to Wilson and Ruth (Shelton)  Ewan, and raised in Denton.  She was preceded in death by Ruth and Wilson an d her brother, Jack Ewan.

Tommie and her loving husband celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on December 6, 2008.  She is survived by her husband, Marshall; their three sons,  An drew, allen, and his wife Michelle, and Wayne and his wife Jeanette.  Also surviving are two grandsons, Kristoffor and Zackary.

Marshall and Tommie have been members of Grace Presbyterian Church since they moved to Bay County in 1983.  Tommie was instrumental in helping put her husband through college at the University of Texas at Austin.  She was amember of a group o wifes that received an honorary PHT degree fo Putting Hubby Through School.  Tommie had a great sense of humor, a kind heart, strong faith, and loved playing card games and Scrabble.

A funeral service was held in Panama City. FL on Friday, October 1, 2009.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at Belew Cemetery in Aubrey.  The  family will be at the Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home,  705 N. Locust, Denton on Monday, October 5, 209 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M.   In lieu of flowers, contributions may me made to Covenant Hospice, 107 W. 19th St.Panama City, FL  in memory of Tommie Ruth Mann.
