Tina M. (Carter) Johnson, 38, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2008 at Presbyterian Hospital in Denton, TX  She was born on November 7, 1969 to the late Willie F. "Bill" and Reba (McConnell) Carter in Denton.  She married Alvin Johnson on February 23, 1992 in Denton.  She was a graduate of Denton High School and attended Beauty College.  She was a Beautician.

Funeral services  will be held at 2;00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at McKinney Street Baptist Church,  3000 E. McKinney St. with Rev. Bill Black, officiating.  Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Park.  The family will be at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, for visitation from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Tuesday, July 8, 2008.  Pallbearers will be Bryant Carter, John Goin, John Gonzales, Justin Hammond, Freddie Lynch,  Butch  Martin, Mike McConnell, and Shane McConnell. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to McKinney Street Baptist Church Children's Building Fund.

Tina is survived by one daughter Jasmine Johnson, mother Reba Carter,  brothers and sisters in law, Eddie and Melinda Carter, Scott Carter, Shawn and Lisa Carter, Jimmy and Sandra Cross,  all of Denton, Texas. Also by  nephews, family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her father Willie F. "Bill" Carter, grandparents Bent and Jewel Carter, Fred and Myrtle McConnell.
