IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Timothy Jason
Spurrier
November 18, 1970 – February 16, 2023
Timothy Jason Anderson Spurrier, fondly referred to as TJ by most, was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on November 18, 1970, to Keith Anderson and Sherry Ward Spurrier. Keith was in the Army, stationed at Fort Lewis in Seattle/Tacoma, Washington. Sherry was studying Fashion Merchandising in Dallas, Texas.
TJ was adored and spoiled by Grandmother Mildred Anderson and grandparents Bob & Pat Ward. He was an extraordinary big brother to Tracy & Christopher Spurrier and Camille Nelson & Brian Anderson.
TJ was an adventurous child, never hesitating to jump on a dirt bike, go for a swim in the nearest lake, or catch snakes with his bare hands. He graduated from Plano High School, attended Steven F. Austin State University and Essex County College in New Jersey. TJ was raised in Plano with many friends that he remained close to throughout his life.
He married the love of his life, Stephanie Moore, gaining a son and kindred spirit in Rowdy Altum. They gave him joy, love and a reason for living. His daughter, Kelsey came later turning his life upside down. She stole his heart and gave him hers.
Kelsey passed at the young age of nineteen, but stayed in the forefront of his mind and soul. It is certain that they are now reunited and can be seen in the afterlife dancing, hugging, and laughing.
TJ's abrupt departure left us shocked, saddened, and with a hole in our hearts, but memories of good times with him will carry us through our lives.
He was a registered organ donor who gave his body to prolong and enhance the lives of strangers - a final example of his abundant generosity.
Here's to you, TJ; the son, the brother, the husband, the father, and the friend.
Gone but not forgotten.
