Obituary

On December 30, 2009, the world lost an incredible man, loving husband, devoted father and grandfather, wonderful son and brother, respected uncle, and an unforgettable friend. Thomas Lee Wells passed away at the age of 57 in Frisco, Texas. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife, Cendie Wells, two extraordinary daughters, Whitney Rae Wells and Grace Kelley Wells, his precious granddaughter, Raelee Ann Wells, his mother, Gwen Wells Smith, and his brother and sister-in-law, Larry Alan and Myra Wells.
Tom Wells is also survived by Linda D' Amico, Buck and Annette Fryar, Mike, Vickie and Falen Inman, Ronnie and Lynda Stuart, Tray and Cindy Woolsey, Rocky Stuart, Sam and Nakita Stuart, Mary Eads, and his best friends and extended family through God.
Tom resided in Little Elm, Texas with his wife and youngest daughter. Tom and Cendie were married in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on April 21, 1995.
He was an active member of Point Church in Little Elm where he participated in the Praise Team. Tom was a true musician who loved playing the guitar.
Tom had many career accomplishments, including co-founding Lighthouse Business Development, a faith based company in Carrollton, Texas. Most recently, he was the president of Smith & Wesson Direct Security Services in Houston, Texas.
Known for his wit and great intellect, Tom was a very learned man. He took initiative to acquire the knowledge he needed in his pursuit of happiness. He was a 1976 alumni of East Texas University and held a Masters of Business Administration from University of Phoenix.
Tom used to say, "Where there's a Wells, there's a way," and was encouraging and supportive of his family, friends, and associates. His knowledge was massive, his love was overflowing, and his will and zest for Christ was unlike any other.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Praise Fellowship Worship Center located at 111 West Eldorado Parkway Little Elm, Texas 75068.
