Thomas E. \"Tooter\" Beavers, Jr. 66, of Argyle, died Monday, October 17, 2005 at Denton Regional Medical Center. He was born on October 5, 1939 in Sherman, Texas to Thomas Eugen, Sr. and Viola Mae (Mobley) Beavers. He was a graduate of Denton High School, and attended the Cross Timbers Church. He was married to Martha Fry on February 3, 1962 in Durant, Oklahoma. He served in the U. S. Army. He was employed by Bell Helicopter/Textron for 34 years in the assembly plant. He was a member of Stanfield Masonic Lodge #217.
A funeral service will be held at 10 A.M. Thursday, October 20, 2005 in the Chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home with Reverends Bud Stradley and M. V. Pruett, officiating. Burial will follow in the Graham-Argyle Cemetery in Argyle. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 until 9 P.M. Wednesday, October 19, 2005 for visitation. Pallbearers will be his cousins Ronnie and Adrain McLain, Dale Hunt, Scooter Smith, his nephews Tony and Tye Carter, Gene Brown and Paul Moore will be honorary pallbearers.
Mr. Beavers is survived by his wife, Martha Beavers, of Argyle, daughter and son-in-law, Lori LeAnn and John Wayne Campbell, of Grand Saline, sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin Michael and Cindy Beavers, of Argyle, Johnny Eugen and Dawn Marie Beavers, of Argyle. Two sisters Nina McClendon, and Vicki Wade, and a brother Danny Beavers, all of Denton. Grandchildren, Mitchell Keith Beavers, Sarah Michelle Beavers, David Eugen Beavers, Justin Michael Beavers, Keisha DeNora Campbell, and Kasey DeLynn Campbell, and a Great Granddaughter, Alexus Jayde Campbell. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Norma Carter.
