Thomas Harold Scripture, age 88, of Aubrey passed away Monday March 31, 2008 at Senior Care Center of Denton. He was born April 3, 1919 in Plain Dealing , La. to Charlie Field and Addie ( DeMoss ) Scripture. He married Tava Jean Hardin on April 7, 1979 in Denton, Texas. He was the Asst. Plant Engineer for the Denton State School, member of the First Baptist Church Denton and a WWII Veteran.

He is survived by his wife Tava of Aubrey; daughter, Kerra Scripture Rigler of Denton; sister, Charline Rodgers of Denton; two nieces and two nephews.

Funeral Services will be 2 pm Thursday April 3, 2008 at the Mulkey-Mason Chapel .

Burial will follow at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Denton. Dr. Jeff Williams will be officiating the service. Visitation will be 6 to7 pm Wednesday April 2, 2008 at the funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Les Wilson, Joey Wilson, Steve Rigler, Manuel Ramirez, Hugo Flores, and Wayne Calvert.
